Senior Technical Specialist – Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Body-In-White design and development, with expertise in upper body, closures, underbody, and front-end structure.
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required.
- Proficiency in CAD software like CATIA V5 is essential.
Responsibilities include designing and developing BIW components and structures for passenger and commercial vehicles. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the validation and verification process, concept creation, and innovative design proposals.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They should also have a deep understanding of GD&T, vehicle packaging, assembly processes, and feasibility.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, stamping, and regulations.
- Understanding of CAE, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams for integration and feasibility.
Required Qualifications:
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Proficient in CAD software like CATIA V5 (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, GSD, Drawing), Teamcenter.
Deliverables:
- Designs aligned with project targets (cost, weight, quality, and timing).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
