Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team.

Credit analysts play a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of clients and identifying potential risks. They must have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track the performance of a portfolio of credits/transactions.
  • Understand US Public Finance (USPF) sector dynamics and regulatory trends.
  • Analyze macroeconomic parameters impacting the sector and assess the impact of regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Stay abreast with the latest happenings across USPF sectors, including revenue and expenditure mix and factors affecting it.
  • Evaluate economic fundamentals, competitive position, strategy, execution, management, profitability, and peer comparisons.
  • Assess accounting, financial governance, policies, financial ratios, liquidity, short-term factors, and off-balance sheet debt.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
