Sales Specialist Role Overview

Sales Specialists at RIMS TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED are responsible for the retention of customers, negotiation of contracts, and identification of entrepreneurial enterprises and relationship management strategies. They work closely with the sales team to boost overall performance by supporting them, addressing customer and sales team requests in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
1. Generate renewal leads, proactive approach for renewals, and build customer relationships.
2. Actively renew existing maintenance contracts and achieve targeted renewal rates.
3. Manage large account renewals and maintain/build relationships with business users, procurements, and C-level management.
4. Maintain an accurate, detailed client book and develop an active, repeat customer base.
5. Utilize the CRM tool to ensure standard processes during all sales stages.
6. Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, utilizing outside-the-box thinking to develop new and unique sales tactics.
7. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate customer need fulfillment.
8. Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.
9. Provide customer service by staying on top of pending orders and customer requests.
10. Deal/Vendor registrations, quote/SLA contract preparations, communicate with customers, arrange required documents, etc.
11. Maintain SLA tracker sheets and coordinate with customers for upcoming visits related to system health checks and preventive maintenance visits.
12. Work with the technical team for preparing the detailed scope of work related to the SLA/OTS proposals.
13. Manage renewals of Software, Hardware, and Managed services by calling, sending quotations, and closing deals with customers.
14. Support sales order processing by preparing required documentations, costing sheets, PBCR for project execution.
15. Coordinate invoices with the Collection Manager.
16. Sales orders booking in the ERP with complete details.
17. Arrange and manage meetings with potential customers.
18. In-charge of sales meetings and minutes recording.
19. Submit the monthly sales report.

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferred in the IT industry
- Strong PC and good typing skills (MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc).
