Job Description

As a data analyst intern, you will work on cutting-edge projects involving data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization. You will have the opportunity to engage in multiple mini-projects across various functional areas of the company.

The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to real-world data analysis and business intelligence. You will gain hands-on experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization and dashboard creation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Collection & Processing: Gather data from various sources and databases, clean and pre-process data to ensure quality and usability, develop and maintain data pipelines, and implement data validation procedures and quality checks.
  • Data Analysis & Modelling: Apply statistical methods to interpret datasets, identify patterns, trends, and correlations in complex data, develop predictive models and conduct hypothesis testing, and create data-driven solutions for business problems.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and visual reports, develop compelling data visualizations to communicate findings, present analytical insights to stakeholders, and automate regular reporting processes.
  • Business Intelligence: Transform raw data into actionable business insights, support decision-making processes with data-backed recommendations, monitor key performance indicators and metrics, and identify opportunities for process optimization.

Capstone Project: Complete an end-to-end data analysis project including problem definition, data collection and preparation, analysis and modelling, visualization of results, and recommendations based on findings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
  • Interest in working with data and deriving insights.
  • Willingness to self-learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
