About the Role

This is an opportunity to shape Airtel's regulatory strategy, partnering closely with senior leadership to influence the external environment and drive internal alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop policy positions across telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze competition, market and regulatory trends & provide strategic updates to support policy advocacy.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Regulatory team and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.
  • Support in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects across multiple business lines.

  • Proven track record of stakeholder management across policymakers, regulators, and cross-functional business teams.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
