Job Overview:

Digital transformation is underway across the financial industry, and our client is at the forefront. As a Project Manager in this leading commodity trading and logistics company, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing their IT applications and infrastructure.

The Trading IT group supports the trading business, which has initiated a wide-ranging program to improve its trading applications using innovative architecture. This initiative aims to drive business growth across various lines and geographies while enabling system sharing across different businesses.

Your primary responsibilities include defining project scope and objectives, predicting resources needed to achieve them, and managing those resources effectively. You will also develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, providing consistent updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

You should have overall 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in OTC derivatives space. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager is required. You must be able to handle project complexity through effective stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and change management.

Familiarity with AGILE methodologies and knowledge of project planning tools are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with expertise in setting and managing customer expectations, are also necessary. Experience working in team engagements to finalize new operating models and roadmaps for change across people, process, data, and technology is beneficial.
