Cement Mortar Lab Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cement Mortar Lab Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on cement and mortar samples, batching and mixing ingredients, setting up apparatus, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting tests on cement and mortar samples as per testing plans given by the lab manager.
  • Batching and mixing of ingredients to prepare molds as per plan and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Setting up apparatus and conducting routine tests as per SOPs to determine physical properties.
  • Maintaining readings and observations for calculations and reference purposes.
  • Regularly maintaining and cleaning test apparatus/equipment to keep them in good condition.
  • Assisting the lab manager in day-to-day lab operations.
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry and relevant laboratory experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
