About the Role

The Head of Administration is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of schools, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient management of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage school operations, including infrastructure, planning, and logistics.
  • Requisition curriculum support and inventory, and effectively manage timelines.
  • Ensure timely updates on student and staff data, circulars, school events, tests, examinations, trips, and records.
  • Establish quality standards for services affecting teaching and learning, safety of the school environment, transport, catering, security, uniforms, and facilities.
  • Making arrangements for training programs, workshops, field trips, SPA, sports days, annual concerts, and special events.
  • Create a cooperative school-parent relationship by enhancing the school image through effective interaction and positive issue-resolving attitude.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues related to external vendors and agencies within stipulated time frames.
  • Present regular MIS reports to the Principal.
  • Conduct functional-MBWA (Management by Walking Around) with the Vice-Principal and Principal.
  • Brought urgent and important issues to the notice of the Principal immediately.
Key Accountabilities:
  • The Administrative functions in the School are efficiently managed and issues are resolved within agreed times & stipulated dates.
  • Operations - Logistics, Security, Housekeeping, support staff.
  • Operations & Records - Resources, furniture's, tools, equipment's, uniforms & fixtures.
  • Maintenance & Repairs - Around the school & Ground.
  • Documentation of Staff, Students, School Circulars, events, test, Examination schedules and trips etc are efficiently managed.
  • Records and checks on various services to School such as Transport, Catering, Security, Uniforms & those affecting domains of School's Teaching & Learning are effectively managed.
  • Effective implementation of ancillary management.
  • School safety equipment is always in top condition.
  • Cost-effective, timely and appropriate arrangements for any requirements for training programs, workshops, field trips, SPA, Sports day, Annual concert or any other special day beyond the day-to-day requirements are met.
  • A cooperative school-community relationship is maintained.
  • Day-to-day issues related with external vendors and agencies are resolved within the time frame and stipulated dates.
  • All administrative documents are regularly updated and well maintained.
  • All urgent and important issues are brought to the notice of the Principal immediately.
