Investment Portfolio Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Portfolio Specialist to join our team in a critical role that involves developing and managing investment portfolios for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in portfolio management, including expertise in selecting appropriate investment vehicles, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and alternative investments, to construct well-balanced and diversified portfolios.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing portfolio construction and optimization models, risk and return calibration, and utilizing expertise in selecting investment vehicles to construct well-balanced portfolios.
  • Conducting comprehensive analysis of clients existing portfolios, including asset allocation, performance evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Providing day-to-day support to Portfolio Managers, including data aggregation, analytics, and reporting.
  • Implementing risk management techniques to mitigate portfolio risks, including monitoring and adjusting asset allocations, setting risk limits, and employing hedging strategies when necessary.
  • Proposing new process flows, models, and Excel-based models/tools to achieve efficiencies and controls.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of work experience in quantitative portfolio construction/modeling/portfolio management/investment strategies teams as researcher or PM or equivalent data science role.
  • BE/B Tech from a top-tier college and/or master's in finance/Financial Engineering/Econometrics/Quantitative Finance/MBA.
  • Strong background in portfolio management and construction with analytical mindset. Experience in statistical analysis and testing toolsets.
