Job Title: Education Operations Director

Job Summary:

The Education Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of educational programs, ensuring that they are delivered efficiently and effectively. This includes managing administrative activities, supervising staff, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing the activities of subordinate staff in the coordination and management of various educational activities.
  • Monitoring budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensuring all contracts are live and maintenance of office premises, including asset repair.
  • Transport management, including monitoring bus movement and ensuring student safety.
  • Managing resources to nurture key personnel and handle emergencies.
  • Validating and evaluating vendors, negotiating services, and following up on payments.
  • Supervising, advising, and mentoring the admin team.
  • Developing and maintaining school operational activities.

Qualifications:

A graduate or postgraduate degree in operation/administration from a recognized university is preferred. Post-graduate/MBA with good communication skills and ability to correspond independently. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in school administration, preferably with ICSE/CBSE Boards. Knowledge of finance and budget essential.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of education operations, facility management, canteen, sickbay, security, budgeting, billing, events, and functions.
  • Understanding of budgeting, asset management, and compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint.
