Senior Backend Engineer

  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our impactful product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
  • Create robust APIs, microservices, and integrations to support our front-end applications.
  • Collaborate with our MongoDB experts to optimize data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Work closely with our front-end team to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate backend services.
  • Ensure high availability, security, logging, and scalability on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, and building scalable backend services.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, and performance optimization.
  • Comfortable working with React (with Vite) and understanding how backend and frontend interact.
  • Experience with AWS: setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and security.
  • Mastery of microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, and fault tolerance.
