Interior Designer Job Description

Job Title: Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and functional spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement interior design concepts and plans that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and create custom solutions.
  • Source and specify materials, finishes, and products to ensure high-quality results.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Interior Design or related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and visual merchandising.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with design software and tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with modular design systems and product development.
  • Knowledge of civil works and services, including specifications and installation details.
  • Proficiency in Creating Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for customers and coordinating with internal and external agencies.
  • Sales expertise in Sales Closure through logical and trusted sales pitches, driving and leading design meetings with customers.
  • Behavioural attributes such as result-oriented, teamwork, integrity, ethics, crisp, and meaningful communication.
  • Ability to drive performance among independent team members.
