Senior Mainframe Professional

Job Description:

  • The Senior Mainframe Professional plays a pivotal role in operating complex computer systems.
  • Key responsibilities include supervising and controlling intricate networks, operating distributed systems, and working with cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform batch operations as per service agreements and analyze first-level issues across systems.
  2. Resolve and/or escalate issues as appropriate.
  3. Develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements.
  4. Oversee the accuracy of ITSM tickets and turnover reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Mainframe Operations.
  • Expertise in Job Control Language (JCL) and job abend codes.
  • Sound knowledge of Mainframe infrastructure, consoles, HMC, batch, and subsystems.
  • Proficiency in MVS commands and JCL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
