Production Leadership Opportunity

This is a Senior Manager position in the production department where you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end production process of bus body structures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to improve cost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Jobs Per Hour (JPH), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and downtime to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to resolve line-level quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce non-value-added activities and improve line balancing.
  • Implement automation and ergonomic improvements to increase productivity and employee safety.
  • Manage and mentor production supervisors and line staff to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • 15-20 years of experience in automotive production, preferably in bus/coach body building, BIW, assembly, or EV.
  • Strong understanding of bus body structure design and manufacturing, leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Cost control skills, ERP/MRP systems proficiency, and safety awareness.
