Job Title: Senior Product Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned product expert to lead the development and execution of our non-apparel verticals, driving growth through strategic category management.

  • This role will be responsible for assortment planning, pricing, vendor management, and profit ownership of the category.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in building and growing categories, driving sales through customer-centric strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Strategy & Planning
  • Define and execute a comprehensive category strategy for footwear, bags, watches, beauty, or other lifestyle categories.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market gaps, and consumer trends to develop innovative product offerings.
  • Own the profit and loss statement for the category – sales, margins, inventory, and marketing expenses.
Assortment & Merchandising
  • Plan product assortment in line with consumer demand, seasonality, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to design campaigns, promotions, and seasonal collections.
  • Optimize pricing, discounting, and promotions to drive profitability and conversion.
Vendor & Brand Management
  • Nurture and manage strong vendor/brand relationships to negotiate terms, pricing, and supply commitments.
  • Onboard new brands and products aligned with category strategy.
  • Ensure seamless vendor operations – from procurement to fulfillment.
Operations & Performance Management
  • Work closely with supply chain, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Monitor daily sales, stock levels, and category performance metrics; take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark pricing, product assortment, and category trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing to execute category campaigns and promotions.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to enhance category visibility, navigation, and consumer journey.
  • Provide insights to finance on budgets, forecasting, and ROI measurement.
