Backend Software Engineer Job

This role involves designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend services using cutting-edge technologies such as FastAPI and Django.

  • We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building high-quality software solutions.

To succeed in this position you should have:

  1. At least 3 years of professional experience with backend development using FastAPI and Django.
  2. A strong understanding of asynchronous programming and Python internals including the GIL.
  3. Excellent knowledge of database design including relational and non-relational databases.
  4. Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools.
  5. Good communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms is a plus.

  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django.
  2. Build and deploy microservices from scratch ensuring reliability and performance.
  3. Implement storage solutions based on use case requirements.
  4. Optimize server performance focusing on low latency and high throughput.
  5. Develop monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies using industry-standard tools.
  6. Work with asynchronous programming and understand Python's internals including the GIL.
  7. Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed.
  8. Ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with experience in FastAPI and Django. They should also have a good understanding of asynchronous programming and Python internals, as well as knowledge of database design and monitoring tools.
