The Knowledge, Language, and Reasoning Lab is seeking highly motivated individuals to contribute to our research endeavors. We are a dynamic team focusing on the development of Large Language Models (LLMs), with a strong emphasis on creating efficient models for diverse tasks.

Our research explores the creation of structured knowledge corpora, language understanding, and reasoning techniques to enhance the learning and performance of LLMs. We are particularly interested in methods that enable smaller language models to perform complex reasoning across a range of downstream tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of efficient LLMs using various programming languages, particularly Python.
  • Write clean, modular, and scalable code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong foundation in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • High proficiency in Python programming.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, or work involving LLMs is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

  • A strong learning mindset.
  • A keen interest in staying up to date with recent research developments in NLP, ML, and AI.
  • Initiative in exploring original ideas and asking meaningful questions.
