Data Architect

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, develop and govern our data architecture and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design scalable and robust data architectures for data warehousing and enterprise data platforms.
  2. Develop and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Fivetran and Cloud Composer.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and create logical and physical data models.
  4. Manage various database systems, including BigQuery, SAP HANA, and PostgreSQL.
  5. Evaluate and improve data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
  6. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to design data serving layers and feature stores.
  7. Develop reporting frameworks and data marts to support business intelligence needs.
  8. Integrate data platforms with enterprise systems and third-party APIs.
  9. Define data governance strategies and implement master data management.
  10. Contribute to the full data lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in backend languages/frameworks, preferably Python or Go.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and designing microservices.
  • Solid grasp of data modeling fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong version-control habits and CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
