Job Summary

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in managing vessel operations, ensuring efficient and safe turnaround of vessels in port. With a minimum of 18-20 years of post-qualification experience, this individual will oversee the coordination with principals, vendors, and external agencies to optimize revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and control operational activities to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate efforts with principals, vendors, and external agencies to enhance revenue generation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effectively manage people and external agencies to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain cost-effectiveness, customer satisfaction, problem-solving, compliance, claim prevention, operational safety standards, capacity management, team management, improving operational procedures and systems, and service innovation.
  • Monitor and control all operations to ensure customer satisfaction, office administration, MIS, payables, receivables, and other related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate from a premier institute.
  • A minimum of 18-20 years of post-qualification experience in handling vessel operations.
  • Experience in handling Container/Bulk/Break Bulk/Project Cargo/Lifts on-Lifts off/RoRo operations is preferred.
  • Master Mariners will be given preference for this role.
