At Marriott, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Housekeeping Associate. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms.

Job Description

The Housekeeping Associate is a key member of our housekeeping team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Running sold room reports and verifying room status to ensure accuracy and efficiency;
  • Identifying and addressing discrepant rooms in a timely manner;
  • Assisting housekeeping management in coordinating daily activities and ensuring seamless communication among team members;
  • Acting as a liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry teams to facilitate smooth operations;
  • Documenting and resolving issues related to discrepant rooms in collaboration with the front desk;
  • Preparing and distributing room assignments to housekeeping staff;
  • Monitoring and updating the list of Do Not Disturb rooms to ensure guest satisfaction;
  • Ensuring that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned promptly and assigning rush rooms and previously Do Not Disturb rooms as needed;
  • Completing all required housekeeping paperwork accurately and efficiently;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience; and
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
