**Automation Test Lead Job Description**

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Lead with extensive experience in Automation Testing, specifically with hands-on expertise in Playwright and Cypress Automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in DB testing using SQL and must have robust experience with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience in Agile-based testing and the Banking domain is essential.

The successful candidate will oversee the entire software testing lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed from planning to execution and reporting. They will also lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation test suites using Playwright and Cypress Automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Strategy & Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using Playwright and Cypress Automation.
  • Database Testing: Perform strong DB testing using SQL, including complex query writing for data validation and integrity checks.
  • Test Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire software testing life cycle, ensuring best practices are followed from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Agile & Domain Expertise: Work effectively within Agile-based testing methodologies and apply deep knowledge of the Banking domain to testing efforts.
  • Team & Task Management: Demonstrate strong team and task management skills, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of automation goals.
  • Defect Management: Manage defects proficiently using Jira and QC ALM, including logging, tracking, and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in Automation Testing.
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright and Cypress Automation.
  • Strong experience in DB testing using SQL.
  • Must have experience in STLC.
  • Experience in Agile-based testing and the Banking domain.
  • Strong team and task management skills.
