The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and managing various aspects of the company's financial performance. This includes:

  • Monitoring actual costs against budgeted costs, identifying areas of variance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock takes and ensuring that inventory levels are optimized.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, supporting audits and implementing process improvements as needed.
  • Preparing detailed financial reports and analyses to inform business decisions.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to other business initiatives, including cost reduction projects and strategic planning efforts.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in finance or a related field (such as accounting, business administration or economics).
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
