Costing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Costing Specialist to support our ongoing Oracle implementation project.

This role requires strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Costing in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain the Oracle Costing module as part of a broader Oracle implementation project.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve issues and expand module capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate product costing to support pricing and margin decisions.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for costing-related challenges.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, including direct collaboration with the costing lead.
  • Participate in interviews and onboarding processes as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Costing.
  • Strong accounting background with relevant degree or hands-on experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for a 4–6 month contract with potential for extension based on performance.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Oracle Costing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
