Job Title: Admissions Officer

 

Job Description:
  • Process international student admissions through efficient, timely and accurate assessment of applications including Genuine Temporary Entrant framework evaluation.
  • Prepare and analyze data for internal and external reporting to ensure applications are assessed within agreed timeframes.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of University programs including academic and English entry requirements.
  • Identify and recommend qualifications for recognition and inclusion into pathway documents. Suggest improvements in admissions procedures to enhance application turnaround times.
  • Handle inquiries, provide information and advice on program details, fee inquiries, enrolment status, student visas and scholarships.
  • Maintain accurate student records, scan documents received in hard copy and manage system-generated notifications and emails.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the assessment of international qualifications and Genuine Temporary Entrant criteria in the tertiary education system.
  • Well-developed skills in handling detailed information and complex systems with the ability to analyze and report.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines under pressure.
