Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned storage professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetApp storage installations and a solid understanding of network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and upgrade NetApp AFF, FAS, and E-Series storage systems.
  • Implement NetApp ONTAP in high-availability environments.
  • Integrate storage solutions using SAN/NAS protocols: iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS/SMB.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and clients to design tailored storage architectures.
  • Perform physical hardware installation, site audits, and system handovers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, escalate to NetApp Support when necessary.
  • Create comprehensive diagrams, configuration notes, and installation documentation.
  • Follow best practices and standards for NetApp deployments.
  • Apply data protection strategies including LUN provisioning, SnapMirror, and snapshots.
  • Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on NetApp storage installation experience.
  • Proficiency in ONTAP CLI and System Manager.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure: Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Cisco, Brocade.
  • Experience with NetApp tools: Active IQ, AutoSupport, Unified Manager, Config Advisor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites within Bangalore as required.
