Safety Specialist

As a seasoned professional in Risk Engineering for the Power Sector, you will leverage your expertise in thermal and hydro power plants to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough risk assessments at power generation facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Develop and deliver actionable risk reports with detailed loss estimates and improvement strategies.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders across various departments, including Risk Management, Operations, and Insurance.
- Support new project evaluations and international risk placement initiatives.
- Work closely with senior business leaders from engineers to CEOs to drive informed decision-making.
- A minimum of 8-15 years of experience in Operations/Maintenance within the power plant sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of audits, risk analysis, and reporting methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably from IIT or NIT).
