Job Title: Import Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Import Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the import of goods into our country.

  • Fulfilling documentation requirements, including preparing export invoices and packing lists;
  • Generating insurance certificates and ensuring adequate coverage;
  • Understanding hazardous cargo regulations and completing necessary declarations;
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders, including factories, forwarding agents, and shipping lines;
  • Negotiating freight costs and coordinating logistics;
  • Certifying and approving shipping documents, such as SB checklists and AWB drafts;
  • Arranging transport and handling courier shipments;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on export shipments;
  • Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, including HS codes and tariffs;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of import/export procedures and regulations;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications;
