We are looking for a DevOps engineer with experience in AWS, Kubernetes orchestration, and EKS. The ideal candidate should have:

  • 8+ years of experience working on AWS, Kubernetes Orchestration, and EKS.
  • 6+ years of production environment experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience working on Linux environments with at least one scripting language.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD.
  • Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools such as Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom, and CloudWatch.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.
  • Manage deployments in environments like QA/Stage/Production and engage stakeholders as required, adhering to SLA (Service Level Agreement).
  • Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters through automation like Terraform.
  • Institute infrastructure as code, security, and process automation and automation of routine maintenance tasks.
  • Create and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation.
  • Participate in and lead war-room/critical outage calls and ensure the RCA process is implemented.
  • Cross-located team management to create a self-managed team, support skill development, and provide growth path, performance evaluation, and attrition management.
  • Customer management for daily calls to discuss progress/updates, weekly and monthly status reporting, and lead calls with cross-functional teams for creating new services monitors.
