Senior SEO Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases for our clients' target audiences.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
  • Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building and outreach campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Identify technical SEO issues and work with our development team to implement solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and algorithm updates to ensure our SEO strategies remain effective.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on SEO performance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our content team to create high-quality, SEO-friendly content for our clients' websites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, with a strong portfolio of successful SEO campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications are highly valued but not required.
