">Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled procurement specialist to oversee the procurement of materials and review requisitions. The ideal candidate will coordinate with Plant stores, develop vendor/supplier relationships, and maintain inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure materials as per user department indents.
  • Review requisitions, obtain quotes, finalize orders, and follow up with vendors.
  • Coordinate with Plant stores for documentation and finance to clear vendor payments.
  • Maintain inventory levels for A & B Class items.
  • Operate the vendor/supplier rating system to improve performance.
  • Purchase orders, job orders preparation in SAP, and daily reporting on material movement.
  • Record payment made, way bills issued, and C forms to suppliers.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and receive materials.
  • Identify new competitive vendors for each material category.
