Data Privacy Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to implement and manage data privacy solutions across diverse IT landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, compliance, and risk management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and manage data privacy solutions across various IT environments.
  • Drive data discovery, classification, and governance initiatives using specialized modules.
  • Maintain accurate records of processing activities and conduct thorough vendor risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Implement and promote practices for ethical AI, including data anonymization and pseudonymization techniques.
  • Support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data privacy instances.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Technical skills: data discovery and privacy governance tools, RDBMS & NoSQL, scripting languages, networking protocols, Linux environments.
  • Data skills: cookie management, categorisation, vendor risk assessment, privacy inventories.
  • Soft skills: strong communication and presentation, team collaboration, stakeholder expectation management.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT
  • Data Sources, Classification, Scanning

Desirable Skills:

  • Industry experience: Energy, Oil
  • REST APIs, PowerShell scripting
  • Data visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Looker
  • Breach response awareness
  • Cloud exposure: AWS, Azure, GCP
