Marketing Trainee Position

We are seeking a curious and creative individual to join our marketing team as a trainee.

This role involves working closely with our brand performance leads to develop and implement online and offline communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media content calendars for multiple channels
  • Manage social media engagement, including responding to followers, leads, and customers
  • Collaborate with the content team to create short-form assets for visual-heavy platforms like Instagram and YouTube
  • Assist in scripting short and long-form content for various marketing channels
  • Manage end-to-end communications on all active social media channels, including content creation, cataloging, caption writing, posting, and response management
  • Generate and share insightful reports on social media performance beyond vanity metrics
  • Translate campaign briefs for retail and assist in creating in-store assets and communication touchpoints
  • Co-create press releases and engage with journalists and publications to disburse official brand communications
  • Write copy for short and long-form social media assets, including caption copy, descriptions, and hooks for stories
  • Conceptualize and co-author storytelling content for blog posts, email campaigns, and digital guides
  • Iteratively work on micro-copy for marketing automations designed to drive retention and conversion
  • Lay digital copy with keyword research and allied SEO best practices to strengthen organic discovery of the brand

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and behavioral sales for a lifestyle brand
  • Ability to refine their sense of style to match brand sensibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Multi-tasking abilities with a diverse team without being micro-managed
  • Familiarity with basic tools like Canva, Google Docs, Sheets, and willingness to explore more advanced ones
  • Basic knowledge of writing smart and clinical prompts for AI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications
