Job Opportunity: Analytics Lead

Job Summary:

The Analytics Lead plays a pivotal role in driving strategic business decisions through data-driven insights. As the primary liaison between assigned business functions and the Data & Analytics team, this individual ensures alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Engagement & Coordination
    • Act as the primary point of contact between assigned business functions (e.g., Sales, Service, Operations, Finance) and the Data & Analytics team.
    • Translate business objectives into actionable data requirements.
    • Prioritize and manage incoming requests from business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of analytics deliverables.
  • Analytics Delivery & Technical Execution
    • Lead the development of Power BI dashboards from requirement gathering to deployment and training.
    • Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI.
    • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
    • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of analytics outputs.
    • Drive continuous improvement in Power BI dashboard design, usability, and performance.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Supervise and mentor a team of Data Analysts; assign work, review outputs, and provide technical guidance.
    • Manage team workload and capacity to ensure timely delivery of reporting requirements.
    • Promote best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and data governance.
    • Collaborate with other Analytics Leads and the Head of Data & Analytics for cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development (including DAX, data modeling, performance tuning).
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, ETL concepts, and business process mapping.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and coach team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization concepts.
