Job Title: Fabric Architect

Role Summary

A Fabric Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and scaling next-generation analytics platforms.

This position involves developing scalable solutions, building and optimizing data pipelines, and driving ingestion-to-insight workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics, with hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and strong skills in SQL, Python, or PySpark.

Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services and familiarity with IaC tools and data governance practices are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Scalable Solutions: Develop and implement scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build and Optimize Data Pipelines: Create and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Drive Ingestion-to-Insight Workflows: Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive ingestion-to-insight workflows.
  • Establish Governance and Security: Ensure governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric workloads.
  • Mentor Junior Team Members: Stay ahead of new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8–12 Years Experience: 8–12 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
  • Hands-on Experience with Microsoft Fabric: 2–3 years hands-on with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong Skills in SQL, Python, or PySpark: Strong in SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Solid Experience with Microsoft Azure Services: Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Familiarity with IaC Tools and Data Governance Practices: Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices.
