Key Data Architect Role

As a seasoned data architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data solutions using cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Develop data architecture blueprints that include data flow diagrams, system integrations, and storage solutions.
  • Cloud Data Platform Development: Lead the development of our cloud-based data platform on AWS, focusing on implementing data pipelines and warehouses.
  • Big Data Integration: Oversee the ingestion of large-scale datasets from various sources, optimizing processing of big data and integrating legacy systems into our cloud environment.
  • Data Modelling: Create and maintain data models for our databases and data lakes, designing relational schemas and dimensional models that cater to operational applications and analytical workloads.
  • Advanced Analytics Enablement: Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to enable AI and advanced analytics, providing well-structured data sets and creating pipelines that feed machine learning models.
  • Efficiency and Scalability: Design efficient, scalable processes for data handling, optimizing ETL jobs and ensuring our data infrastructure can scale to growing data volumes.
  • Data Governance & Security: Embed data governance into the architecture, implementing data cataloging, lineage tracking, and governance policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
