Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Account Manager to join our team at Waters Corporation.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a sales professional to leverage their technical expertise and excellent communication skills to drive business growth in the chemistry consumables market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve sales targets and revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
  • To provide technical support and guidance to customers on our products, including Liquid Chromatography.
  • To work closely with cross-functional teams, including Instrument Sales, Application Team, Product & Market Management Team, and Informatics, to ensure customer success.
  • To formulate and implement business plans to achieve sales goals.
  • To prioritize personal time and sales activities effectively.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc/MTech with Marketing or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and forecasting skills.
  • 5-10 years' experience in Chemistry Consumable Sales.
  • Knowledge of Liquid Chromatography.
  • Nice to have technical and practical solution-selling experience, particularly in selling High-end Technology products.
  • Familiarity with SFDC/SAP/Excel.
  • Highly passionate individual with charisma, perseverance, and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations.
  • Customer-focused with good listening skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical & commercial values.
  • Good priority setting and organizational skills.
  • Proficient English and regional language skills.
