Production Supervisor Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing production operations. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, adhering to safety regulations, and leading a team of production staff to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising Production Team: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operators and technicians to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Production Planning and Execution: Implement production schedules and ensure that production targets are met within specified timelines and quality standards.
  • Workflow Management: Monitor and optimize production workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Identify and address any bottlenecks or issues.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products are manufactured according to quality standards and specifications. Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all production personnel. Conduct regular safety checks and address any hazards.
  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet production demands.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper use and basic maintenance of production equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production-related issues, including equipment malfunctions, quality deviations, and process inefficiencies. Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to production staff. Identify training needs and coordinate with HR for further development.
