Job Role

We seek an experienced IT Audit Consultant well-versed in SSAE 21 (SOC Reporting) and AICPA standards. This individual will assist senior IT Audit Consultants, report to managers, executive directors, or CEOs, and work directly with CEOs on strategic engagements.

Responsibilities

This role involves participating in planning activities, identifying client needs, and delivering assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services. Key responsibilities include:

  1. 1. Participate in planning activities to identify client needs/service opportunities in assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services.

  1. 2. Own growth and service delivery (planning, execution, and reporting) of engagements, working closely with supervisors and clients on System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre and post implementation assessments, and report issuance under AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards.

  1. 3. Work with clients to execute engagements, leveraging industry and functional insights from our advisory business to bring greater value to clients.

  1. 4. Design and execute high-quality, integrated, and efficient audit procedures.

  1. 5. Assist in and contribute towards building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols. Develop audit programs and procedures to establish the Audit processes. Streamline control testing to ensure effective and efficient operations.

  1. 6. Create and implement audit strategy relating to evaluation of significant applications relevant to financial audits.

  1. 7. Prepare and communicate issues, risk, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans.

  1. 8. Identify potential clients and generate leads for AARC-360.

  1. 9. Adhere to all quality standards and processes, including the firm's independence requirements, for acquiring clients, opportunities, and submitting proposal and contract documents.

This role requires excellent communication skills, collaboration with engagement teams, leadership to lead engagement teams, a detailed understanding of standards, regulations, and information systems, strong project management skills, and confidentiality within a professional environment.
