Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance professional to join our team as an Assistant Trade Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying trade finance documents, initiating and processing trade finance transactions, and providing expert advice to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify trade finance documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Initiate and process trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Guarantees, and Standby LCs.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as Front Office, Treasury, and Compliance, to ensure seamless transaction processing.
- Investigate and respond to customer queries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of Trade Finance products, including Commercial Loans and Deposits, and provide expert advice to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Finance, preferably in a Middle Office role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Trade Finance regulations, including ICC Rules and SWIFT.
