Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Storage Professional to join our team. As a Storage Administrator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement storage systems that meet the needs of our organization
  • Add disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and high-availability controllers
  • Configure and manage disaster recovery replications via snapmirror
  • Manage vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools
  • Provide operational support to the file serving / NAS infrastructure
  • Plan and implement data migrations using Robocopy
  • Use an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details
  • Handle disk, aggregate, qtree, volume issues
  • Monitor and resolve storage critical events

Requirements:

  • Experience with NetApp, Hitachi, and CMODE storage systems
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of fabric switches
  • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc)
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS - NFS technologies
  • Experience with enterprise process mapping tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with industry best practices such as ITIL, Agile etc

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with operational ticketing systems such as Service Now
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for data migration and storage management
