Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HPC Systems Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing a performant, reliable, and secure high-performance computing environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Linux experience and production infrastructure support. They will also have experience in system administration and technical support, as well as proficiency in technical writing and documentation of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hardware maintenance
  • Install and upgrade software
  • Monitor system performance
  • Provide data management support
  • Resolve user problems
  • Interact with business customers and technical teams globally
  • Foster a supportive work environment
  • Maintain cross-organizational contacts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree with 70% or above
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Linux experience and production infrastructure support
  • Experience in system administration and technical support
  • Experience in HPC technologies such as parallel/distributed file systems, high-speed interconnect fabrics, and HPC batch scheduling software suites
  • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation of solutions
  • Solid understanding of data center operations fundamentals in networking, cooling, and power
  • Works well in a team environment and is self-motivated
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in working in High Performance Computing Systems

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Strong IT skills in infrastructure and applications
  • Experience with supporting large-scale production environments
  • Experience in implementing changes and security controls in a global framework
  • Understanding of data center operations fundamentals in networking, cooling, and power
  • Knowledge and experience with installing/compiling vendor and open-source software
  • Knowledge and experience with application/infrastructure deployment and support in one or more major cloud environments
