Backend Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team in building high-performance and scalable backend services using Golang. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing backend applications and RESTful APIs with Go.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, including unit testing, debugging, and API documentation. Additionally, they should be proficient in containerization (Docker) and deploying services to Kubernetes environments.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery: Writing Golang-based logic for BQ interactions, orchestrating and optimizing BQ pipelines, tuning for compute and storage efficiency
  • Experience working with data orchestration tools like AWS Athena or Step Functions.
  • Knowledge of federated query engines like Trino or Presto is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a distributed team.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear documentation and coding practices.
