Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in database administration, including database backup and recovery, query optimization, and data integrity and security.

Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in Microsoft SQL Database, including installation and configuration, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale distributed databases that handle big data.
  • Optimize database performance for efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the databases.
  • Install and configure big data technologies, such as Hadoop, NoSQL databases, and other distributed computing systems.
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize query performance.
  • Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure efficient data processing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in database administration.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Database, including installation and configuration, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
  • Strong understanding of database backup and recovery, query optimization, and data integrity and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
