Quality Assurance Engineer Position

A cutting-edge satellite production facility is being created in a pioneering venture. This private-scale satellite production house is the first of its kind in India and one of the first worldwide.

Job Summary:

We seek a highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) Specialist to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems. The role involves overseeing quality processes across design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft & subsystems such as avionics, power & control systems, and payloads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance (QA):
    • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards.
    • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded.
    • Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
    • Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.
    • Support risk management and failure mode analysis.
  • Quality Control (QC):
    • Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products.
    • Monitor and verify compliance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).
    • Coordinate environmental testing and review results.
    • Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Maintain calibration and certification records of test equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test benches, and environmental chambers.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
