Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineering Leader to lead our development team and shape the architecture of our web and mobile applications.

This role is responsible for designing, scaling, and implementing robust backend systems for payments and settlements. You will be working with a small engineering team to ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness.

  • Lead backend development for web and mobile applications in the stablecoin stack
  • Design and scale backend systems for payments and settlements
  • Build robust infrastructure atop fragmented on/off-ramp integrations
  • Define architecture, lead technical discussions, and own system robustness
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness
  • Establish engineering best practices and delivery timelines

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript / Node.js and API design
  • Prior exposure to fintech or payments (strongly preferred)
  • Track record of integrating external APIs across geographies
  • Leadership experience in scaling early-stage, ambiguous systems
  • Startup DNA: takes ownership, ships fast, thrives amid ambiguity
