Strategic Upwork Bidding & Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our bidding team in securing high-value projects on Upwork.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Upwork bidding, a strong track record of closing high-value projects, and expertise in proposal writing, negotiation, and client communication.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining strategies, optimizing proposals, selecting high-value projects, mentoring the team, and driving higher conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective bidding strategies to secure high-value projects.
  2. Proposal Optimization: Optimize proposals to increase conversion rates and secure more clients.
  3. Project Selection: Identify and select high-value projects that align with our goals and objectives.
  4. Mentorship: Mentor and guide our bidding team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  5. Conversion Rate Improvement: Continuously work to improve conversion rates and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of proven Upwork bidding experience.
  2. Strong understanding of Upwork algorithms, client behaviors, and platform updates.
  3. Expertise in proposal writing, negotiation, and client communication.
  4. Ability to manage a team of bidders (minimum 3 members).
  5. Excellent written and spoken English.
  6. Knowledge of software development services (Mobile, Web, CRM, ERP, Odoo, Salesforce, etc.).
