Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products and services. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate defects, as well as developing and executing test plans and cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure high-quality products and services
  • Identify and mitigate defects through collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide regular status updates and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Expertise in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers
  • Manual testing experience of 5+ years
  • Experience with RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is a plus
  • Exposure to Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD Tools
  • Testing of cloud-hosted applications and customer-facing applications
  • Payments industry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple microservices
  • Experience in building test scripts for test automation frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC
  • Excellent technical skills, including SQL and troubleshooting abilities
  • Nodes/JavaScript experience or other relevant language
  • Extensive API test experience
  • Adopting standards and leading practices for custom software and package software with a focus on testing processes for continuous improvement and automation
  • Applying quality management principles and practices to work with users, testers, developers, and other stakeholders to discover problems, defects, and related exceptions
