Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a crucial member of our test team, ensuring the quality of Product Utilities software by conducting thorough testing.
  • Create and execute detailed test cases to identify areas for improvement in the testing life cycle.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, including Test Seniors and development teams.

As a skilled tester, you will be responsible for creating detailed test cases, identifying areas of improvement in the testing life cycle, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, participating in planning, estimation, and retrospectives. You should have strong experience in software testing lifecycle, API Testing using Postman, planning internal and external testing phases, working with testing management tools like TestRail and JIRA.

Person Specification:

  • 2+ years commercial manual software testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and mixed methodologies.
  • Experience planning application and reporting of internal and external testing phases.
  • Time spent working in cross-functional team environments.
  • Good working knowledge of testing management tools i.e. TestRail and JIRA.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant technologies and concepts including SQL Server, Client/Server applications, CRM, Postman, Utilities industry.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL statements.
  • Good working knowledge of REST API.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related degree, or comparable professional development and commercial experience.
  • ISTQB Foundation certification.

You will be required to support junior testers, participate in planning and estimation, and document mildly complex processes. A good understanding of testing management tools is necessary, along with experience working in cross-functional team environments.
