Job Role: HVAC Engineer

We seek an expert HVAC engineer to spearhead MEP & HVAC design projects, focusing on Chiller Plants (air-cooled/water-cooled) and VRV/VRF systems.

This is an ideal position for engineers with hands-on experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, hospital, and high-rise building projects.

  • Perform heat load calculations and cooling load estimations as per ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
  • Design & selection of chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Prepare detailed HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD / Revit.
  • Develop BOQs, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets.
  • Coordinate documentation, submittals, and approvals with clients and consultants.
  • Work closely with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for project integration.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and conduct technical assessments.
  • Contribute to value engineering, energy efficiency improvements, and system optimization.
  • Provide technical support during installation, testing & commissioning stages.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of HVAC system design (Chillers, VRV/VRF, Air Distribution, Hydronic Systems).
  • Experience with MEP coordination and integration.
  • Proficiency in HAP / TRACE, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Carrier E20-II, Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer or equivalent software.
  • Familiarity with industry standards/codes: ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, IS, ASME.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client handling skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
