Job Title: HVAC Design Expert
About This RoleThis is a pivotal position that requires exceptional expertise in designing and preparing working drawings for HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Create accurate HVAC working drawings that meet project standards and are delivered on time.
- Collaborate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them promptly with site teams.
- Maintain up-to-date ISO documentation and drawing logs.
- Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals.
- Monitor productivity and participate in QA/QC processes.
- Identify additional work and inform the Project Manager accordingly.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC design principles, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control.
- Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements is essential.
- Proficiency in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP) is required.
- Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is desirable.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills are necessary.
- Understanding of related MEP systems is a must.
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- HVAC training certification is preferred but not compulsory.
